Bethany + Manny are complete NATURALS at parenting. They know all of the tricks to calm Cozette, like rocking her, snuggling her on the longest couch known to man, and of course playing Adele on the ol' iPod. I can't wait to watch Cozette get more active over the next few months (though she might be the most alert newborn I've ever known). It's gonna be so much fun!
Please give Bethany, Manny, and Baby Cozette some love in the comment box!
Katie and Adam (yep, another Adam!) are jugglers by now, and are really doing a stellar job of keeping Karis, Briley, & Cord fed, changed, snuggled, and more! Their patience impresses me to no end. I hope so much to watch these babies grow and change and begin interacting with each other. With all of that cute, they're gonna be forces to be reckoned with!

Amazing pics of a beautiful family! I love Carson's expressions, they seem to reveal a very curious little boy!
(12.12.11 @ 10:55 PM)Kelly, you are absolutely beautiful! You have a couple of handsome boys too!
(12.11.11 @ 08:51 PM)Love these so much! You always capture his personality so perfectly! You did such an amazing job when Carson was anything but cooperative. Carson saw these and immediately asked, " Where's Kate?" I can't tell you enough how talented and wonderful you are. Love ya and thank you so much,
(12.11.11 @ 08:27 PM)We just showed Carson, and he said...Where's Kate?
Thanks for doing such a great job on a difficult shoot. You are the best.
This week, during Millie's Nutcracker rehearsals, I have intensely observed the dynamics between the children (okay...mostly girls) and their parents (okay...mostly mothers). It's obvious that children do take after their parents in some ways, but it has become even more apparent to me just how much this is the case as kids grow up. Children pick up on moods, gestures, tone of voice, reactions and responses, what is deemed funny and what is deemed inappropriate. Our kids are definitely "mini-me"s in many regards.
I am so proud of Kelli + Steven for being relaxed but responsible parents. They don't get in a tizzy when things don't go as planned, but they aren't completely in left field either. The comfortable, flexible middle ground of a family environment that they provide Carter is going to only help him flourish, and I can't wait to document him along the way!
(And PS---I freaking love this first image. It is SOOO Kelli.)
So sweet! It's obvious he is a very happy little boy!
(12.13.11 @ 09:27 AM)Kate, the pictures of Mr. Pootie Pants and Co. are absolutely adorable!! I can't wait to see the rest of them :)
