Welcome!
I'm so very ecstatic that you decided to join the party.  It is my life's passion to keep you entertained through my photographs of babies, my family, and pretty much anything that moves me, as well as my work as a branding expert.

Stick around and become part of the family.
Come early, come often, leave comments.

Sometimes the snow comes down in June
Sometimes the sun goes 'round the moon
I see the passion in your eyes
Sometimes it's all a big surprise

Cause there was a time when all I did was wish,
You'd tell me this was love
It's not the way I hoped or how I planned
But somehow it's enough

And now we're standing face to face
Isn't this world a crazy place?
Just when I thought a chance had passed
You go and SAVE THE BEST FOR LAST

Yeah.  I wrote this for Gina + Jason to show them my love.  Not really.  It's a Vanessa Williams song, circa 1991, but as I was compiling the images for their slideshow and then ultimately this very blog post, I couldn't get those lyrics outa my head!  Damn.  It should have been the song I chose for their slideshow, but I had to go all "new" on it with M83's Reunion.

Anyhoo, I feel like I did save the best for last.  I ended my wedding career on a COMPLETE high note!  This wedding was full of personality and warmth, through and through, and Gina and Jason are tops, m' friends.  TOPS.  I love them dearly and feel that these images are like little gifts.  Let's all help them unwrap them.  Leave Gina + Jason loads of comments.  We've gotta go out of the whole wedding photography thing with a BANG!  Do it!

Something about the post reminded me of the Seinfeld episode "Constanza leaves on a high note" episode. You can just throw your arms up in the air after this AWESOME wedding collection and say, "Alright, that's it for me!" Kate, I ALWAYS love your photos - no matter what the subject. They are like chocolate cake -- only without the calories!

Meggan + Jess, it's couples like you that set the world on fire!  So much love surrounds you, it's almost obscene.  Your wedding was so genuine and about what is really important...not flowers or cake or being featured on one of those wedding blogs, but about your magnetic attraction and true blue love and commitment to staying together till you're old and gray.  You inspire me so much, and had me skipping as I left your reception.  Thanks for being you.  I adore you and both of your families, and even your crazy ass friends.

Though they were married in Hawaii earlier this year, Lacey + Scott held a quaint reception at Gather in Downtown McKinney this summer.  Emily Youngblood of Blessed Unions did a stellar job coordinating the event, and Holly Viles knocked it out of the freaking park with her floral design.

I had a ton of fun playing fly on the wall as I watched Lacey + Scott and their friends and family interact, dance, and engage in general silliness.  This bunch was lively, welcoming, and full of Southern charm.  Here are a few of my favorite frames from the evening!

Set in Austin at the quaint site of Mercury Hall, Jacie + Scott said, "I do".  I was absolutely honored to be there to document each tiny moment inside of the bigger moments, and felt privileged to be "up close" as the emotions ran high.  Jacie + Scott are the real deal...their love inspires me, and I am so glad I can call them friends.  Here is the story of their beautiful wedding day!

Yeah.  I just really like this picture.  Not sure what about it sends me.  Maybe it's that it feels like these ladies found their inner 5 year old spirit and went frolicking in a forest.  Stay tuned for Jacie + Scott's wedding...

this reminds me of the secret club I was a part of in 2nd grade, ironically named "the unicorn club". we met at the tire run on the hill every day at recess and no boys were allowed. duh.
